Ph.D. Candidate, University of Notre Dame
Jacob Swisher is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of History at the University of Notre Dame. He is an historian of the North American Southwest with interests in environmental history, borderlands, commodities, and the Anthropocene. His current work focuses on the dynamic relationship between people, animals, exchange networks, and the environmental history of the Upper Rio Grande Basin.
